Msida St. Joseph FC are organising another car wash next Saturday 10th May 2008. As usual the Car Wash will be held in front of the Msida Police Station, near the Worker's Monument.
If you would like to help the club with a small donation from €5 above you can come and have your car washed. Every small thing helps our club.

Msida vs. Hibernians match will be played next Monday at 6.00pm at Ta' Qali National Stadium. After the win against Pieta, Msida need just one point to mathematically secure their status in the Premiership for next season. We would like everyone to be at the ground next Monday to support our team.

Msida Saint Joseph Football Club would like to announce that they have come to an agreement to sign both Matthew Camilleri and Kenneth Spiteri.
The former Floriana and Sliema W. keeper and the Under 21 International former Hibernians and Birkirkara defender would be joining the squad with immediate effect and would start training with the team as of next Monday.
The club would like to wish Matthew Camilleri and Kenneth Spiteri the best of luck!

During the match between Msida and Pieta, Msida broke two of the Club's records. It was the first time ever that Msida won with a 7-goal margin in the Malta Premier League. Njongo Lobe Priso Doding's 4-goal haul is also a record for Msida in the Premier, eclipsing the 3-goals by Daniel Nwoke scored 5-years ago in the 4-1 win against Sliema.

Msida St. Joseph has signed promising youngster Andre Formosa on a two-year contract. Andre Formosa was already part of the Msida St. Joseph Football Club squad when he was on loan for one season, six years ago when the club got promoted from the first division to the Premier Division.

Following a tremendous game on Victory Day, Malta managed to draw 2-2 with Turkey. Turkey is of the top teams in Europe, but it is Malta who twice lead the game. It is days like the 8th of September that makes you proud to be Maltese.

Msida St. Joseph has officially signed Yacine Ouahchia as their third foreigner for season 2007/2008.
Yacine Ouahchia is a 20-year old striker from the United Kingdom. He came through one of the top football academies in the UK.

During a Press Conference held on Saturday 26th August 2007 at Ristorante del Capo, the new Msida St. Joseph FC signings were presented to the Media. So far a total of 10 new players joined Msida. These are:
Clive Brincat and Lawrence Mizzi from St. Georges, Andrew Spiteri from Birkirkara, Gilbert Camilleri and Glenn Magri from Naxxar, Clive Spiteri from Valletta, Charlie Black a Maltese player from the UK, Stacy Vella made his move permanent from San Gwann. George Ogbonna is a Nigerian holding midfielder who has played in the UK for the last couple of years and Njongo Lobe Priso a striker who is a member of the Cameroon Olympic team are the two new foreigners of the club.
During the Press Conference, the President Mr. Robert Farrugia thanked the main sponsors of the Club Eurosport, Powerade, Activezone and the new sponsor to help the Club Ristorante del Capo and Texmex Grill & Cantina.
We wish all the new players the best of luck for season 2007/2008 and also once again thank all the sponsors of the club.

Next Monday for the Match against Sliema Wanderers at 6.00 at Ta' Qali, the supporters should stand in Millennium Stand Side ‘A’ and the South Stand (behind the posts).
The Prices will be:

Next Friday, 24th August 2007, Msida St. Joseph FC will organise the annual Presentation Night. It will be held at the Ristorante del Capo which is on top of the Sliema Car Parks for the price of Lm5 which include 3 free drinks, and Lm2 for children which include 2 free drinks.
It is important that all of you attend this activity to give courage to our players just 3 days before the first match of the season. We have a lot of new players in the squad and they will feel very much better if they know that the Supporters are all behind them.
All the squad will be present for the night, and we might even have a surprise or two.
For tickets you can go to the Mater Dei school or contact the President or the members of the Supporters Club.

Msida St. Joseph have concluded the fourth signing of the season. Following the capture of Clive Britncat, Lawrence Mizzi and Andrew Spiteri, Msida St. Joseph have signed Stacy Vella on a permanent deal from San Gwann.
Last season Stacy Vella was on loan at Msida and he did enough to convince the club to sign him permanently. Early this morning Stacy Vella signed a 5-year contract with the club.
Today the Club also finished another piece of business. Omar Borg was officially sold to Birkirkara FC. We wish Omar the best of luck with his new club.

Msida St. Joseph Football Club will play its first friendly of season 2007/2008 tomorrow 16th July 2007 at 6.30pm at the Luxol grounds. The opponents will be a team from Scotland. We invite all of you to attend to see the first appearance by the squad for the season which will include the debut of newcomers Clive Brincat, Lawrence Mizzi and Andrew Spiteri with the Msida shirt. Also this will be an opportunity to watch the players we have on trial, both the Maltese and the foreigners.

Yesterday Msida St. Joseph Football Club committee has reached an agreement with Mr. Joe Abdilla to become the new Assistant coach. Mr. Abdilla will work closely with the Msida coach Mr. Patrick Curmi.
Mr. Joe Abdilla will also remain the Msida St. Joseph Under 19 coach.
We would like to thank Mr. Abdilla for all the work he had done last year with the Under 19, and would like to wish him the best of luck for the coming season in his new role as well as that of Under 19 coach.

Tonight an agreement was reached between Msida St. Joseph Football Club committee and Mr. Patrick Curmi, so that Mr. Curmi will remain the coach of the club for the season 2007/2008. Following the highly successful 2006/07 season Mr. Curmi had many followers and it was always the new committee's first task to confirm him as coach. Thus it is with great pleasure that we announce the signing of the new contract.
In other news Paul Fenech was today officially transferred to Birkirkara.
From here we would like to wish all the success to Mr. Patrick Curmi for his second season as Msida St. Joseph coach and also wish all the success to Paul Fenech in his new adventure, and thank him for the services he has rendered to Msida St. Joseph.

Msida Saint Joseph FC would like to announce that following the Annual General Meeting held last Friday 15th June with a continuation on Sunday 17th of June, Mr. Robert Farrugia was confirmed as the new President of Msida Saint Joseph FC. Mr. Farrugia, who was Vice-President, last year, will succeed Mr. Antoine Portelli who didn’t submit his nomination for the committee this year.
In the committee headed by Mr. Farrugia there are Mr. Charles Debono as Vice-President, the Abela-Wadge brothers Keith and Alan who are going to hold the positions of General Secretary and PRO respectively, Mr. Martin Micallef as Council Member, Mr. Elton Agius, Mr. Malcom Dimech, Mr. Stephen Lovegrove, Mr. Ian Micallef, Mr. Kenneth Portelli, Mr. Jean Paul Bajada, Mr. Neil Zammit, Mr. Noel Mallia and Mr. Alfred Mallia will also form part of the 14-men Committee of Msida Saint Joseph FC.
In his first comments after being confirmed as President; Mr. Robert Farrugia mentioned that he is very happy with the committee he has and as always is optimist of another successful season in the Premier Division.
Msida Saint Joseph FC would also like to thank former President Mr. Antoine Portelli; who was unanimously confirmed as Honorary President, former Acting-President and Vice President Mr. Edward Calleja and former Financial Director Mr. Robert Ancilleri for the service they offered to the club in the past years.
